Barry M. Sabloff

Barry Sabloff is a retired executive vice president and head of the International Group of Bank One, N.A., which is now merged with JP Morgan Chase & Co.  During a 30-year career with Bank One and First Chicago (which merged with Bank One), he headed a variety of other areas, including Global Risk Management; Europe, Middle East and Africa; Syndications and Placements; Training & Education; and Electric & Gas (utility companies banking). He is currently the general partner of the Sabloff Family Limited Partnership and vice chair of Marquette National Corporation, a bank holding company, and of Marquette Bank, a community bank, in Chicago, Illinois. He has served on the CoBank board since 2005 and is the chair of the Audit Committee.

Mr. Sabloff is vice chair, treasurer and finance committee chair of Columbia College Chicago, a private arts and media college, and president and remuneration committee chair of The American School in London Foundation, as well as director of The American School in London Foundation (UK). In addition, he serves on the advisory committee of AHC Metro Opportunity Fund II LP, and AHC Real Estate Fund VI LP, and as a director for the Marquette Bank Affordable Housing Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on education in Chicago and suburbs, and the Marquette Bank Education Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on affordable housing in Chicago and suburbs, both located in Orland Park, Illinois. Mr. Sabloff earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Trinity College and an MBA degree from the University of Chicago.
