Timothy Green

Asset Review

Timothy Green is responsible for supervising the team of Examiners that perform internal review functions for CoBank and reviews of Associations within the CoBank District.  In addition, he is responsible for the planning and coordination within the Asset Review group and serves as the review liaison with the Farm Credit Administration examination team.  Mr. Green is a member of the Bank’s Senior Leadership Team.

Upon joining the bank in 2006, Mr. Green specialized in rural infrastructure transactions, servings as the credit manager for the bank’s Electric Distribution and later the Power Supply, Energy Services and Water division prior to joining the Credit Approval Group as a credit approver in 2010.

Prior to CoBank, Mr. Green served as the Vice President of credit for a Denver-based de-novo community bank, Native American Bank, NA, specializing in generating economic development opportunities on or near tribal reservations. While there he was responsible for ALLL reserve management, overall credit administration and quality, as well as regulatory relationships with the OCC.  He began his career as the vice president/territory supervisor for a consumer lending corporation with oversight for a multi-branch territory throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. In all, Mr. Green has more than 17 years of financial industry experience.

Mr. Green grew up in Alaska before moving to rural Northeast Missouri.  He earned a bachelor’s in education from Central Christian College in Missouri and is involved in various local and national organizations that monitor ongoing changes to the utility and credit industries. He is Credit Risk Certified through the Risk Management Association (RMA) and is a board member of the Rocky Mountain RMA chapter.
