John Svisco
Chief Business Services Officer

John Svisco is CoBank’s Chief Business Services Officer. In that role, he has responsibility for the Digital Business Solutions Division, which includes the Farm Credit Digital Alliance established between CoBank and Financial Partners, Inc., with a mission of developing digital banking products and services for customers of the Farm Credit System. John also has responsibility for Administrative Services, Minerals Management, and Business Continuity. He is a member of CoBank’s Management Executive Committee, Senior Leadership Team, Business Practices Committee (Vice-Chair), Enterprise Risk Committee, Nonqualified Plan Committee, and is chairman of the Farm Credit Digital Alliance Governance Committee, Retirement Trust Committee and Welfare Benefits Committee. Mr. Svisco also serves on the board of directors for AgVantis, Inc. and Mount Saint Vincent.

Mr. Svisco, who joined CoBank in 2002, managed loan and lease operations during his first seven years at the bank as Senior Vice President of the Operations Division, and was most recently Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of the Human Resources and Administrative Services Divisions. He has extensive experience in operations and finance in the financial services industry, including 20 years with HSBC Bank USA, where his last position was Senior Vice President of Operations Services.

Mr. Svisco earned an MBA from the William E. Simon School of Management at the University of Rochester, his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clarkson University, and is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School.
